Comments Policy

I hope that comments and discussion on my blog will be directed by reason and I am not giving up on this hope, even though this is the internet at the beginning of the 21st century.

Comments are only published after I had a look at them and manually allowed them to be seen, which might take a while. Since this is my blog I decide what can be read on it and what cannot. There is enough space on the internet for those whose want to see their own opinion on a screen.

I find it difficult to provide clear criteria for which comments I will not allow. I will not allow what hurts people and what I do not want to be associated with, examples for this are sexism and racism. I might allow comments which hurt people and I might comments with content I do not want to be associated with, but not if they go together.

That said, I make mistakes and might judge to publish comments, which should have no place on my blog. In any case, that I allow a comment to be seen does not imply that I endorse its content or a approve of it in any way.
